Kaiten Books Spring 2025 Update
Torrance, CA - Friday, April 25, 2025:
Spring is here again, and we’ve got some announcements to ring in the season! Let’s get right into it.
Starting with some exciting news, the anime for Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! will be airing in July 2025! If you haven’t had the chance to jump into the series yet, we are happy to announce that we are making the digital version of the first volume of the manga absolutely FREE starting today on select storefronts! This includes Google Play, Apple Books, Kobo, and more. The free ebook campaign will run from April 25th through May 9th, so be sure to check your storefront of choice to nab your free copy in that time.
Securing a free copy isn't the only way to make the jump if you're interested in checking the series out. Avex Pictures, the studio behind the anime adaptation, has decided to feature chapters from the first volume as Moving Manga on YouTube dubbed in English! The first two chapters are currently available for your viewing pleasure, and you can stay up to date on releases by checking out this playlist.
In more Outcast Restaurant news, the digital version of Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! Vol. 4 (manga) releases today. And that’s not all—we are happy to announce the digital version of Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! Vol. 5 (manga) will be available this summer! Keep an eye out for our official release date so you can keep up with the latest in the Outcast Restaurant saga.
Fans of Loner Life in Another World rejoice as the digital version of Loner Life in Another World Vol. 12 (manga) is planned to release in late June 2025! Be sure to check back in with our favorite loner to see what misadventures he gets up to this time.
To wrap up our update, we have one final announcement to make—a brand new series! We are excited to welcome Munakata’s Two Months Left to Live in Another World to the Kaiten Books menu! The story follows octogenarian Kaichi Takemura, a master martial artist with a terminal cancer diagnosis who suddenly finds himself transported to another world. The only cure? Grinding experience to level up and extend his life!
Even more exciting is that you can check out the digital version of volume 1 next month when it drops on May 23, 2025. Preorders are available now on all the usual storefronts, so don’t miss it!
