Spring is here again, and we’ve got some announcements to ring in the season! Let’s get right into it.
Starting with some exciting news, the anime for Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! will be airing in July 2025! If you haven’t had the chance to jump into the series yet, we are happy to announce that we are making the digital version of the first volume of the manga absolutely FREE starting today on select storefronts! This includes Google Play, Apple Books, Kobo, and more. The free ebook campaign will run from April 25th through May 9th, so be sure to check your storefront of choice to nab your free copy in that time. With the fourth volume also releasing today, if you like the series enough after getting a taste, see if you can catch up before the anime airs!
Securing a free copy isn't the only way to make the jump if you're interested in checking the series out. Avex Pictures, the studio behind the anime adaptation, has decided to feature chapters from the first volume as Moving Manga on YouTube dubbed in English! The first two chapters are currently available for your viewing pleasure, and you can stay up to date on releases by checking out this playlist.
We also have a big announcement to make—a brand new series! We are excited to welcome Munakata’s Two Months Left to Live in Another World to the Kaiten Books menu! The story follows octogenarian Kaichi Takemura, a master martial artist with a terminal cancer diagnosis who suddenly finds himself transported to another world. The only cure? Grinding experience to level up and extend his life!
Even more exciting is that you can check out the digital version of volume 1 next month when it drops on May 23, 2025. Preorders are available now on all the usual storefronts, so don’t miss it!
