Hello and happy Spring to all from Kaiten Books! We’ve got quite a few things to talk about this time around, so let’s hop right in and get on with the updates. For fans of The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting who are eagerly awaiting the anime, the official air date has been set for July 7th, 2022 in Japan! You can see all the trailers and latest updates for it on the Official Twitter, so be sure to follow if you can’t wait to see Kirishima and Yaeka in action! (Like us.)
Speaking of anime, we have some exciting news—we will be participating in Anime Expo 2022 as an exhibitor! You can find us at Booth 2817 in the Exhibit Hall, so if you’re planning on going, come say hello!
We also have some updates for our digital releases! First up is the 3rd and final volume of My Dad’s the Queen of All VTubers?! which released last Friday, April 29th, 2022, on digital storefronts. Next up is Loner Life in Another World Vol. 6 (manga) releasing May 27th, 2022, and Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! Vol. 2 (manga) releasing June 10th, 2022.
In printing news, we have more physical releases on the horizon! Look forward to Loner Life in Another World Vol. 5 (manga) being available for purchase on June 23rd, 2022 and The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Vol. 3 going on sale August 16th, 2022. Pre-orders can be made through the usual suspects via RightStuf, Book Depository, Amazon, and more, with links to each storefront up on our website. Our friends at RightStuf are also holding a weekly sale that includes all of our releases at a discount, so go check it out right here if you’re looking for a good deal!
For those who haven’t had luck finding some of our physical releases, then we’re happy to report reprints for series like Loner Life in Another World and The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting are en route to our distributor. Print times are still being affected, so be sure to grab them while you can, since it might be some time before we can get more printed!
Again, we would like to thank everyone for sticking with us as we continue to adjust to constantly changing print times and price fluctuations. We will do everything we can to keep everyone in the loop as we continue to get our physical releases out as fast as possible.
